Pest Productions

Pest Productions is an independent black metal label founded in 2006 in Nanchang, Jiangxi, China, originally started by members of the Chinese depressive black metal band Be Persecuted. Over nearly two decades it has become one of the best-known outlets for underground black metal from China and the wider Asian scene, with a catalog spanning raw, atmospheric, depressive, and post-black metal styles, and past signings that have included internationally notable acts. The label has since added a semi-independent American Division based in Vancouver, Canada, which releases and ships its own exclusive titles to North and Latin American buyers separately from the original China headquarters, while the China HQ continues to run the main webshop and Bandcamp store.
