Metal Label Finder is built to need as little of your data as possible. There are no accounts, no logins, and no band data stored on a server anywhere.

The band questionnaire

Your answers — releases, label history, live activity, location, genre, and goals — are kept in your browser's sessionStorage for the current tab only. They are never sent to our database or any other service, and they're cleared automatically when you close the tab (or any time you use "Start over").

Analytics

We use Umami, a cookieless analytics tool, to see roughly how many people visit and which pages get used. It doesn't use cookies, track you across other sites, or collect anything you type — it never sees your questionnaire answers.
