MDD Records

MDD Records is a German metal label founded in 1993 in Baden-Württemberg, growing out of a cassette demo distribution service. Alongside its own mailorder shop, it runs the sub-label Black Sunset (launched 2017) and had released more than 200 albums across both imprints as of an October 2020 count. Its roster has included long-running underground acts such as Suidakra and newer signings such as Spanish power metal band Vhäldemar, spanning folk/melodic death metal, thrash, power/heavy metal and death metal. The label remained active into late 2024, releasing Suidakra's 'DarkanakraD' that November.
